Ask the President to void his executive action on immigration, an act he said 22 times would be unconstitutional.

Created by J.W. on November 23, 2014

The President has maintained that even before his election, executive orders by the President should be restricted and not create new law. As a law professor studying the constitution, I took him at his word when he stated at least 22 times over the course of his presidency that an executive order in this area would be unconstitutional. It is congress that makes law and therefore makes immigration law. He already bent the law with his "Dreamers" EO. He now has completely broken the law with his new EO. This petition is about his action, the EO on immigration, not whether you are for or against the results. If the EO on this goes unchallenged, what other EO could appear tomorrow? Because of his action we are now Without Rule Of Law. This petition is to restore separation of powers.
