Ask responsible gun owners to create state militias in order to "buddy check" assault weapons owners, and not ban them

I know I'm safe with my guns, you know you are too, how do we know the other is safe? Ask their friends. As an assault weapon owner I say WE need to check each other as members of the same community and not a government list. If I want to buy military grade then I should have some training. Citizens need to be armed to balance the power, but not unorganized and untrained. The second amendment is about protection, lets protect it by saying military spec only for PROVEN responsible gun owners! I say WE pass at state levels laws like the concealed carry preventing non militia members from BUYING military grade weapons and gear. State militias need to be organized from groups of gun owners stating that each member is trained in a safe manner like the NRA or gun clubs we are in now
