We are requesting the White House demand Roger Goodell resign immediately as the Commissioner of the National Football League. Roger has shown utter negligence when addressing domestic abuse and player health (including and not limited to concussions and chronic traumatic encephalopathy). He has blatantly ignored the concerns of fans, players (current and past), victims of domestic abuse, and medical professionals. He has alienated millions of American youth who look to the NFL for role models. Additionally, his current actions have impacted our entire society gravely from lost sponsorships that support important issues such as underprivileged youth and breast cancer. Failure to act immediately could have a profound and long lasting effect on the reputation of the NFL.
