The state of Georgia, after the forced removal of the Cherokee tribe from thier ancestral lands, took into possession The Chief Vann House and the Moravian Mission Cemetery. Both of the cultural sites are of significant importance to the Cherokee People. We propose these sites, owned by the state, be returned to the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians. This would be a great, and much appreciated way to give back to the people who have given so much for our great country.
