The anime series "+Tic Elder Sister" is based on a manga of the same name by Cha Kurii which takes an surrealist look at Japanese school life. The anime series itself originally aired from May 16th, 2011 to July 26th, 2012 spanning only 12 mini-episodes, a tragically short life for a series that took a refreshing angle on the social mores of life in a Japanese education system.
