The Ugandan government, under pressure from US 'evangelists,' has recently passed a Draconian law that places Uganda's LGBT population at great risk. Some have already been assaulted and even killed, and others are in hiding in fear of their own safety. No civilized nation would do this and it's WRONG that Uganda is being manipulated in this way. Uganda has been lied to about this, and if this is allowed to stand, the HIV epidemic in Uganda, already a serious problem, will certainly become a catastrophe, with a death toll which could be in the hundreds of thousands if not millions, within the next 5 years. This catastrophe is entirely preventable but will occur if nothing is done.
