Please ask the UN to remove Bangladesh peacekeepers from the United Nations peacekeeping operations.
Bangladesh's government has stepped up the use of lethal and excessive force in recent days against protesters and political opponents -- using police and members of the armed forces of the country. More than 300 people have died in political violence in Bangladesh so far this year and Bangladesh government has failed to take action against many well-documented unlawful killings by the security forces during these protests.
It is time to hold Bangladesh government and its security forces accountable for these unlawful killings by removing Bangladesh Peacekeepers from UN Peacekeeping operations until Bangladesh government addresses these issues.
