Ask US Fish Wildlife Service to Investigate Dr. Jan Seski’s Alleged Illegal Lion Kill, Early 2015

The Zimbabwe National Parks and Wildlife Management Authority Service stated, early in 2015, an American, Jan Seski, a medical doctor from Pennsylvania “conducted a lion hunt in an area where lion hunting is outlawed.” He killed the lion with a bow and arrow. The landowner who helped Dr. Seski with the hunt also did not have a have a quota for lion hunting. The landowner has been arrested and is cooperating with Zimbabwe authorities.

We urge the United States Fish and Wildlife Service to conduct a thorough investigation of Dr. Jan Seski’s lion kill in early 2015, and if any illegal activity took place, to assist U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch in pursuing legal action against Dr. Jan Seski, including. if necessary, the full cooperate with the Zimbabwe
