ask the US Patent Office to rescind the use of word Yankee(s) for any sports team or organization.

The term yankee(s) is offensive. My petition is for the US Patent office to rescind any trademark(s) for any organization using the term "yankee(s)" If a person is born in Mexico they are Mexican if they are born in Europe they are European but not all persons born in America are American. If an American is born north of the Mason Dixon Line they are often identified by the term yankee, for no other reason but their birthplace. They can move south and adapt to a southern drawl, but often sit idly by as the term yankee(s) is thrown about. As sports venues and teams create and enjoy revenue from the publication of the word(s) yankee, I believe this continues the dangerous trend to casually use the term yankee. My request is to eliminate the use of the word yankee(s) for profit.
