Asking the President to Create a Fairer, more Compassionate Federal Pardon System

Pardon America have created a petition appealing to President Obama to create a new federal law guaranteeing that all persons who have a non-violent federal conviction will be granted an automatic & instant pardon by the United States Justice Department. This new law would be created & drafted by an act through Congress or by a Presidential Executive Order. All federal criminal history relating to the offender would be instantly removed from the data banks of all privately owned businesses or otherwise, & a new database would be created verifying that the United States Justice Department has granted & issued a pardon to such offenders.
