We the people request that instead of banning assault weapons, require them to be registered and sold the same way handguns are and make it to where assault rifles already owned are required to be registered. For banning them is not going to stop them from being used. People will always be able to get them. By requiring them to be registered will not punish the people who have legally procured them.
