Sgt. Cory Wride was shot and killed by ambush on January 30, 2014 while he was sitting at his police computer in his police car. It is time to make a change. Police deserve better equipment to better prepare them for the changing criminal landscape. Throughout the country police officers put their lives on the line everyday. Many of those officers don't have even the basic life saving equipment that each and every officer should be guaranteed simply because they do the job. For example: many officers don't have bulletproof vests, especially in small towns. We as a people need to stand together to protect those that protect us. Our officers in your town and mine need better gear so that they can be better prepared to fight a criminal world that is always changing and evolving. Please sign.
