Assign the consequences of enacted policies and legislation to the elected officials responsible for them ad infinitum.

Created by K.M. on September 21, 2013

In good times and in bad We the people elect officials as the constitution mandates per our Republic government. However, in all instances, from the city to the White House, there is no responsibility after end of term and no consequences for those officials for the long term effects of their actions, direct and indirect, by way of the legislation or executive order they support or enact. This has led to the fly by night policies brought to appease a large enough group to successfully be re-elected. This is an unsustainable course and has led to many dire situations because of short term thinking and outcome generation. All officials bearing there name to any legislation, agenda, mandate, action, policy, executive order or bill must be held accountable for the consequences therein.
