Assign a Global Minimum Wage to our Free Trade Agreements, to reduce outsourcing and alleviate labor exploitation.

Created by J.O. on June 01, 2012

Adding a Minimum wage requirement to our existing free trade agreements would force corporations that have sweatshops in third world countries to provide a better wage. this will have the combined effects of reducing outsourcing and reduce poverty in these areas. the implementation of a minimum wage in the States allowed the workers at Ford to have enough money to buy one of the cars that they themselves made. this helped to lead to a more prosperous middle class and a stronger economy. Bottom line, it will stop the exploitation of the third world, and provide competitive environment for american labor and goods.
