We, a group of Syrian American citizens and taxpayers, need the help of our fellow American citizens with the following petition in order to deliver a clear message to our government:
We welcome the 500 million dollars’ humanitarian aid package for the people of Syria. However; we must insist that the U.S. Government places this fund under the supervision and financial control of an independent auditing firm that monitors the management and execution of the program in order to ensure the timely and transparent distribution and fair delivery of aid to the people of Syria, according to their needs, during these most difficult circumstances and throughout this humanitarian crisis.
