So here is my proposal...
We pay the military throughout the united states on all bases a set salary. No matter what they do or how many hours worked.... same dollar amount is paid out whether they work or not.
So... why not divvy up portioned resources of all bases of all branches of the armed services to provide a relief crew to these Hurricane Sandy victimized areas to help with all efforts... including getting home repaired or rebuilt. This would not increase how much we pay out in taxes or otherwise... they get paid anyway.
