In May of 2003 we invaded the country of Iraq and toppled their dictatorship. After doing so we pledged to help Iraq get back on their feet. Fast forward to June 2014, we have since pulled major U.S. forces from Iraq and ISIS and other terrorist/militant forces are capturing cities which will ultimately result in another even more destabilized middle eastern government that would turn from friend to foe quicker than we can blame a prior administration for the problem.
Failure to further assist in the defense of the government we helped create in its infant stages will result in another terrorist stronghold in the middle east which will be of our own creation. It is our responsibility as Americans to stand by our word and help those in need. Especially when we created the situation
