Venezuelan people are in need of aid. Venezuela's new President, Nicolas Maduro, has allowed Cuba to take control of the country, and allowed the economy to nearly collapse. The people struggle to feed families. On top of that, the kidnapping and crime rates have skyrocketed. With all of these problems, it is no longer safe to live in Venezuela, and the people are looking to escape, but the prices have skyrocketed to $12,000. Along with the problematic price, even if people have cash in hand, with a visa and passport, they may be denied leave of the country. I would humbly suggest if any Venezuelan people are able to reach the US, they achieve US citizenship cheaper. Even to say that because Cuba is in control, they are Cuban citizens and receive citizenship as soon as they touch US soil.
