TSA security is a burden that all Americans who fly common carriers have to share. Premium class passengers get to go to the head of the line yet the carriers do not pay any additional security fees.
In effect, TSA helps airlines market higher priced tickets while passing the cost and inconvenience of this service on to all other passengers.
If priority service is to be available to airline passengers, TSA shall charge each passenger utilizing the service a fixed fee irrespective of whether the passenger pays the fee individually or the carrier pays the fee. Alternatively, all passengers shall enjoy equal protection under the law and all shall suffer the same inconvenience of using a common carrier.
