assure the citizens of the United States that we have nothing to fear when it comes to constant threats from North Korea

Everyday I turn on the television and hear threats and rhetoric from North Korea, read it on the internet and hear it on the radio. Most of the news outlets are quick to dismiss North Korea as not having the capability to carry out such attacks as they lack the technology and do not have a nuclear warhead small enough and light enough to hit the United States. However, every day that passes they are getting closer to achieving their goal. My purpose of starting this petition is not to try and ignite war. I believe that we citizens of the US and our allies deserve an official response from the President that we have no reason to fear North Korea. North Korea released photos with targets aimed at US cities. That the White house has not assured us that we safe in our own country is alarming.
