Members of Congress can not hide behind statements that they don't have the votes to pass gun control legislation. Make them prove it and put each member on the record. We demand a straight up and down vote on legislation that will restrict the type of assault-type weapons and high-capacity magazines that the majority of Americans want while requiring gun registration and background checks for all gun purchases. We need to break the NRA-inspired threats that have stymied common sense legislation for too long.
