Assure valuable time isn't wasted on the impulsive petition for Texas to peacefully withdraw from the United States.

The petition for Texas to "peacefully withdraw from the United States of America and create it's own government" is sheer foolery. For an individual to suggest such drastic measures less than one week after the election is sheer foolery. For an individual to be completely resistant to their own democratic government, instead of compromising, is sheer foolery. It's apparent to me and many others that the signees of the buffoonish petition haven't thoroughly contemplated the consequences of Texas seceding. The petition for Texas to secede is impulsive and facile. It's a complete distraction from key issues that need to be handled by the White House and deserves no regard. Frankly, it should be completely ignored. Time is valuable and shouldn't be wasted on a joke.
