I am deeply saddened and frustrated that the Red Crescent cannot even enter the town of Homs and other nearby suburbs to deliver medical and other relief(food, water) to citizens who cannot escape freely b/c of the army. As much as I don't want us to enter yet another armed conflict, I feel we have to lead in establishing some safe corridor where humanitarian relief can be delivered safely to those in need and also provide a protected path for those seeking refuge.
