After thinking about why gun violence is so inflamed in this country, I realized that a lack of education may in fact be a common theme. While requiring a complete intensive background check and psychological test to purchase a gun and/or ammunition is a step in the right direction, an educational class that teaches proper gun etiquette and how to safely handle a firearm may in fact save many future lives. If we need a license to drive a car, fish, teach, and cut hair, shouldn't we in fact need one for owning a firearm? If you can't pass the test, you can't legally own a gun or purchase ammunition.
