Created by R.W. on January 29, 2013

The Medical and Ecological Consequences of the Fukushima Nuclear Accident
March 11-12, 2013
The New York Academy of Medicine, New York City, NY
"http://www.nuclearfreeplanet.org/symposium.html"
- The Nuclear industries campaign for self regulation, public funding and public liability has to be discussed.
- The fact that three Fukushima Daiichi GE reactors reached criticality, released tons of radiation into the air and sea, and are ongoing threats to the very planet for more than a year is disturbing, to say the least.
- There is no end to the waste, what are the plans?
- The industry considers safety on option or a culture, not a regulatory item. That is unacceptable.
