Khojaly massacre - the mass murder of the inhabitants of the Azerbaijani town of Khojaly by Armenian forces, which is characterized by a number of sources as the most large and brutal slaughter of the Karabakh war. In Azeri sources, these events are called Khojaly tragedy (Azerbaijani Xocalı faciəsi) or the Khojaly genocide, which is represented by Azerbaijan as part of a total 200 years of genocide of Azerbaijanis.
