Attention on Political Oppression in Bangladesh

Created by A.M. on February 14, 2013

Currently, in Bangladesh no opposition of the government is tolerated, opposition leaders, journalists are being killed, jailed, kidnapped and forced to resign from the great institutions developed to help the people. The government has even chosen to act punitively against the founder of Grameen Bank, a Nobel Laureate whose work has made a tremendous development in Bangladesh.
like many Bangladeshi Americans we respectfully urge you to bring up the issue of upholding basic human rights of these individuals and institutions that have become victims of the government oppression.
