Under title 21, ch. 13 of the Controlled Substances Act, the Attorney General has the authority to request the dept. of Health and Human Services to conduct a scientific review of Marijuana which would help determine if Marijuana should be removed from its designation as a Schedule 1 Controlled Substance. That designation states that the substances has no medicinal application which is in direct contrast to U.S Patent 6630507 which acknowledges that Cannabinoids contributes to neuroprotection. The Obama Administration must instruct Eric Holder to request the secretary of the HHS , Katherine Sibelius, to review the medical applications of Marijuana.
