Audit the 2016 Election for Voter Suppression and Russian Hacking

Created by J.H. on November 18, 2016

Only three modern elections have split the popular vote and electoral result. Two, 1888 and 2000, were very close; only once, in 1876, was a robust popular vote win paired with an electoral college loss. And in that election, the most controversial and widely disputed in our history, Tilden lost by a single elector. What has never happened is 2016's robust popular-vote victory (>1%), combined with a wide-margin electoral college loss (74 electors). Also, repeatedly, Clinton won swing state exit polls yet lost those states. And the NSADIR director admitted that Russian hacking of our election was deliberate. Such tampering must be investigated. And states with irregularities, including FL, WI and NC, must be audited. We must preserve free and fair elections!
