Audit Congress and reform their pay, retirement, and benefits. Everyone should make sacrifices.

With the economy in it's current state, and sequestration threatening our military power, congress has continued to make budget cuts and other disastrous decisions that put everyone but themselves in dire need of some kind of relief. As an act of faith and a show of support for the American people, Congress should take pay cuts and reform their lavish benefits, to include the fringe variety, that they have pressed on the American people and our military. As leaders "elected to represent the people," they should set the example and lead from the front. Regardless of political affiliation, our politicians have done a sub-standard job and should not impose the various cuts they have without the willingness to make cuts for themselves.
