Having left the American people on the hook for more than 16 trillion dollars in debt, including trillions in secret bailouts and transfers to banks and Fortune 500 companies, including many foreign entities, the Federal Reserve has usurped the sovereign authority of the U.S. Treasury and yet remains unaccountable to the American people.
In accordance with the President's desire for more transparent government, the Federal Reserve should be audited to investigate any criminal acts and all of its documents, policies and minutes, which all belong to the American people, should be placed online for independent review and to be subjected to democratic scrutiny.
