Audit the spending of the US government on every level.

The waste we hear about every day and no one is doing anything about it. Before we raise taxes let's get it under control and cut out the waste. We could hire an independent audit firm to go over every penny spent and I can imagine we would save more than we are going to gain in increasing taxes. It is about time that they are responsible for spending our tax dollars. They call social security and Medicare entitlements whe we have paid in it all of our working lives and the government has mismanaged this money. BE ACCOUNTABLE!
