The commitment and sacrifices made by American combat veterans are disregarded once they leave military service; they're forgotten and often treated as if their service was of little, or no relevance. These former service members risked their lives in the defense of their country; this should be recognized by allowing them to utilize the Army and Air Force Exchange and Defense Commissary Agency facilities Many of those combat veterans have experienced financial difficulties since their separation from the military, shopping at the aforementioned facilities could enhance their living conditions, moreover, they will feel that the nation recognizes their commitment and dedication. Every service member is issued a DD214 upon separation, this document would grant them access to the facilities.
