Recommend an executive order immediately allowing all employees to be able to carry on/in ALL federal installations and leased facilities IF they have a permit in the state they work. With the current threat levels, federal installations are at a very high risk of lone wolf attacks. This It would authorize all military, government and contracted personnel who have a valid CCW in their state to carry a firearm and potentially protect themselves and others against an attack. Currently, law abiding citizens not able to protect themselves against someone BREAKING THE LAW.
To others with similar petitions: please unite under one comprehensive cause. This is not just a military base issue. I urge you to view this as a larger picture of self-defense for the ENTIRE federal workforce.
