To authorize a medal called the Germany Defense Service medal to all US military who was Deployed and or stationed in the former West Germany OR in direct support of the Defense of West Germany and Western Europe from 6 May 1955-2 Oct 1990. We suffered casualties ( AP has this classified KIA-classified WIA-classified MIA-classified AP has a copyright on this?) Served on the Worlds most dangerous border ever, terrorist attacks on US Military personell , Alerts 2-3 times a month, combat defensive menuevers, same service as Korea who got a defense medal for the same type service.
