Authorize or ask congress for the creation of a new $200 Federal Reserve Note with an African-American on the obverse.

Bring the complement of presidents and other figures who currently highlight US currency into the modern era by creating a new $200 bill featuring an important African-American who had a positive impact on the fabric of America in the civil rights arena. The first proposal would be Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and the second proposal would be Frederick Douglass. A new $200 bill would also help provide a single denomination of currency that would have the same purchase power as the $100 bill did back in the 1960s, and could have new security features in it to help prevent unlawful use of such a high-denominated bill.
