Maids, First Ladies, Queen Wilhelmina & Winston Churchill have claimed to see Abraham Lincoln's ghost in the WH. There has been no attempt to dispassionately document the validity of the claims.
I would like to propose a scientific study be conducted in an attempt to video & audio record an appearance. The parameters of the study would include: A panel comprised of the Chief Justice, 2 Lincoln historians & 4 skeptics (2 journalists, 2 scientists) to oversee the installation of the tamper-proof equipment & review any recorded findings; Panel members & those who have claimed encounters, such as President Reagan's daughter Maureen, would be invited to stay at sighting locations; No Hollywood involvement; Footage public domain; Funding could come from the WH operating budget & tourism revenue.
