Authorize the Treasury Department to, under existing law, mint a platinum coin in the denomination of 1 trillion dollars

Under current law, the Secretary of the Treasury has within their power to mint any platinum coin under any denomination. Considering the stalemate from the Republicans in Congress over the debt ceiling, minting a one trillion dollar coin would resolve this issue. Further, in recognition of the first President who brought us to a trillion dollar debt, the image of Ronald Reagan should be on the face and in recognition of those who keep us here, the other side of the coin should be an image of Tea Party Patriots kissing Reagan's ass.
