Since 1913 the Federal Reserve has printed money in secret without oversight. Article 1 Section 8 says Congress has the power to coin money not a private bank. The Federal Reserve has the power to provide money to financial institutions and foreign countries. Their has only been one audit of the Federal Reserve in 2009, which revealed where taxpayers money went. It is time for the people and Congress to take back our monetary system. This yearly audit will provide transparency that we the people desire. This will keep Ben Bernanke more accountable for monetary policy decisions.
