Autism Spectrum Disorder Information Technology Initiative

Created by J.C. on November 14, 2012

When of the biggest health concerns in this nation stems from the amount of children we are seeing with an ASD. These kids need the support not only of the families and friends around them they need the support of the government. Technology has helped grow business well it now can help in the lives of children. Early detection and treatment are keys when dealing with Autism. We can take technology and create new computer programs, tablets geared towards sensory play, and tap into the child's critical thinking abilities. We just need more support from the federal government to create a program that will not only be innovated but cost effective. I propose that we create an Autism Spectrum Disorder Innovation team in the President's Cabinet.
