For the past few years, it seems like Law Enforcement Officers are getting away with Killing unarmed Individuals and nothing is being done. Yes, 1 out of every 10 officers "may" be prosecuted, but it should be clear across the board. There is a lot of injustice happening in our country and nothing is being done about it. People are scared to encounter police officers, afraid of what may be done, whether or not they will make it out of that situation. Law Enforcement Officers are supposed to help us, not hurt us. We are not supposed to fear them, but to know if we need help they will be there to protect us. I am forming this petition to help put an end to the unlawful killing between police officers and unarmed Civilians.
