Automatically grant disability benefits from Social Security Administration for those with a confirmed diagnosis of MS

Created by F.K. on December 05, 2012

People diagnosed with a confirmed case of Multiple Sclerosis, or MS, should be allowed immediate disability benefits, with no disability wait time for payment or wait time for medicare eligibility, if they have the documentation from their doctors stating that they cannot work, even with accommodation.

Persons with MS have different signs and symptoms of MS, and it effects each person differently. But, more importantly, due to each person's unique job skills, they may not be able to just go out and find other work. Also, they may not have the resource to fund themselves for many years, waiting on a decision. The patients doctors know what is best for certain patients, but not all medical ailments qualify as immediate need, or should have their doctor make the judgement.
