I recently applied for a job and i was turned down by Comcast. I was informed that a crime of petty theft was on my record. I served my country left the military, with a good conduct ribbon(Having no article 15's) and Honorable Discharge I live in Georgia, and a crime that was committed in 1997 was held against me even though it is more than 14- 15 years ago. Comcast informed me that they go back in your criminal history indefinitely (not the ten years). I was informed that even though, I am a disabled veteran, honorably discharged, and have committed no other crimes since then it didn't matter I petition the president that an executive order be made so that other disabled veterans, like myself who have served. Avoid discrimination by using criminal records, for disqualification purposes.
