Automatically register ALL eligible voters and establish Vote-by-Mail in all 50 states

Created by M.P. on December 16, 2012

Recognize that every citizen in a democratic nation has the inalienable right to vote in free and fair elections. Reduce the difficulty involved in voting by registering all voters by the time they reach age 18.

To increase voter turnout, avoid voter suppression, and fulfill the President's Election Day promise to fix the inexcusably long wait lines at the polls, require all states to establish Vote-by-Mail systems. States with laws that expand voter registration to as many people as possible - like Maine and Minnesota - and states that have implemented same-day registration - like Oregon - have voter turnout rates well over 60% and shorter lines on Election Day.
