Avoid attacking Extra-Terrestrial Life in the event of hostile behavior.

I am requesting that the United States of America avoid using weapons and/or other types of explosive defensive tactics in the case of unfriendly ET (Extra-Terrestrial) confrontation. An attack on Intelligent ET life could provoke the ET and cause a hostile response, the most probable outcome being a retaliation against the human race. If we restrain from utilizing weapons and/or bombs we could avoid this type of conflict and ensure the survival of the human race. If, instead, we took a less hostile approach, there would be a higher chance of befriending the ET and possibly utilizing them for defense against any other unknown ET. This would grant the human race an even higher chance of survival.
