Catholic hospitals should not be required to provide abortions to its employees and patients as they may have to in the near future. It is against freedom of religion. Only about 1/4 hospitals are Catholic, people desperate for an abortion can receive treatment elsewhere. Non-Catholic employees in the future may be warned that abortions are not covered in their insurance policy, and could agree to work or not work at the hospitals. Catholic hospitals play a large part in helping the nation, it would be a tragedy if they were to be forced to violate their own mission.
