Mr. President,
We are at a critical time, and the people and armed forces are dissatisfied. The air is thick with thoughts of revolution from the South and West. God only knows what will be the consequence but at this present time there exists a cast of darkness sweeping among the nation, and there is a large promise of a fearful revolution which will sweep before it not only the administration but popular government.
I know that you are not Lincoln nor Kennedy. Yet as a leader of this great nation, I urge that you must present actions rather than words to regain the confidence in this Union. This Republic will become divided and perish if this system doesn't bring forth CHANGE that is OF THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE AND FOR THE PEOPLE. We request a peaceful abolishment of the central bank.
