AWARD ALIMONY ONLY TO THOSE IN NEED, THOSE WITHOUT ADEQUATE EDUCATION, EMPLOYMENT OR INCOME.

All States award alimony using this basic "principle": "needs" of the lower-earning ex-spouse and the "ability to pay" of the higher earning ex-spouse.
ISSUES:
-ALL Lower-Earning ex-spouses get awarded alimony even a healthy Dentist.

-The Law ignores the separation standard of living of the payor. Dr. Bernard R. Perez lives in his friends garage since he has no money left after he pays 89% of his income towards maintaining his ex-wifes marital standard of living.
