This man was killed in action during WWII. Despite many attempts to find out what happened to him through contacting her congressman again and again and again, his widow only learned recently of his fate and final resting place. Normandy, France.

The French village he saved has named the main street for him, Three parades each year honor the fact that as his damaged jet was falling to earth, he had the wherewithal to somehow guide it away from the village, plummeting instead into a forest and his death

The US gov't has long failed this widow & her hero husband. It is now time to right this disgraceful wrong.
