The Presidential Medal of Freedom is the highest honor awarded to civilians for their work in their respective fields. The recipients have ranged from physicists to actors, dead or alive. However, several contributors have been overlooked. Buddy, the star of the Air Bud series, heavily contributed to children's media. In the 1990s, several children were glued to their screens, enamored by the hoop shooting wonder-dog, who also doubled as the amicable dog of the Tanner's in Full House. His contributions should not go without notice and I implore President-elect Trump to award Buddy the Presidential Medal of Freedom to Buddy next year. After all, I'm sure his some of his children were enamored by Buddy in their youth.
